William Chan is a dedicated and active student at UC San Diego, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology. Currently serving as a Program Intern at the American Pacific Health Foundation, William has also gained experience as a Resident Advisor and Senior Orientation Leader at UC San Diego. Notable roles include an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both UC San Diego Health and UC San Diego School of Medicine and participation as a Genentech Scholar. A committed member of the American Medical Student Association, William has taken on leadership positions such as Mobile Clinics Head and Outreach Coordinator for Alpha Epsilon Delta while also being involved with HealthLink at UC San Diego. The mission of the Asian Pacific Health Foundation (APHF) is to advance health and wellness for the vulnerable groups in San Diego by providing health education and free community health screenings for hepatitis B and C, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol disorders, and osteoporosis at community centers.
