Stephanie Allen

Stephanie Allen, PhD has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego where they taught Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience. Stephanie then worked at Cereus Innovation as the VP of Research & Development, Strategy and Operations, overseeing various research and development projects and optimizing assets within the portfolio. Stephanie also had a long tenure at UC San Diego where they served as a Staff Research Associate and later transitioned to commercialization consulting and entrepreneurship. Stephanie founded two biotech companies and conducted research on resistance to standard-of-care treatments and genetic profiles of cancer predispositions. Additionally, Stephanie worked at Canvas Health, Inc. as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and Interim CSO, managing strategic initiatives and implementing ML systems for better patient outcomes. Stephanie then moved on to California Life Sciences (CLS) as the Director of Innovation Programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and support innovation initiatives. Stephanie's most recent roles include being a Strategic Advisor at NewCo Therapeutics and serving as the Regional VP of Corporate Development and Strategy at APPS - American Para Professional Systems, Inc., where they focus on business development, strategic alliance management, and expanding healthcare access through partnerships.

Stephanie Allen, PhD, pursued their doctoral degree in Molecular Pathology at UC San Diego. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.
