Max Klink, Ed.D., has extensive experience in the education field. Max began their career as a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia in 2002 and taught for three years. After that, they worked as a Teacher at Folk Arts Cultural Treasures Charter School, where they taught first grade and designed the curriculum for grades K-2. Max then became the Assessment, Intervention, and Accountability Manager at the same school, focusing on curriculum development and data analysis to improve student outcomes.
In 2010, Max joined the School District of Philadelphia again, this time as the Multilingual Curriculum and Programs Manager. In this role, they managed ESL programs in multiple schools and ensured equitable and effective instruction for English Language Learners. Max also analyzed and visualized student achievement data to drive instruction.
Max later worked as an Assistant Principal at West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School. Here, they provided leadership and supervision for a large Title 1 school, developed professional development for teachers, and evaluated instructional staff.
In 2012, Max took on a role as Adjunct Professor at Chestnut Hill College, where they designed and delivered curriculum for an ESL Methodology course at the Master's level.
Max then transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal at Northeast High School in the School District of Philadelphia. In this role, they provided leadership and supervision for ESL and Arts and Education academies, evaluated instructional staff, and ensured the smooth operation of the school.
Most recently, Max worked as the Chief Academic Officer at First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School. In this role, they oversaw academic operations and implemented strategies to improve student achievement.
Currently, Max serves as the Director of Integrated Learning at American Paradigm Schools, where they continue to contribute to educational leadership and development.
Max Klink, Ed.D. holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Education Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Science in Education (MsEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University from 2009 to 2011. Max also acquired certification in Educational Administration from the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2009. In addition, Max holds certifications in various fields such as English as a Second Language Program Specialist from Temple University (2004-2005), Elementary Education K-6 from the University of Pennsylvania (2002-2004), and Painting from Indiana State University (1999-2001). Max completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design from 1995 to 1999. Max also possesses additional certifications, including New Jersey Principal K-12, Pennsylvania ESL Program Specialist, Pennsylvania Elementary Education K-6, Pennsylvania English 7-12, Pennsylvania Principal K-12, and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.
