Michelle Harman McDonald has extensive work experience in various nonprofit organizations. Michelle began their career in 1994 at the Alzheimer's Association as an Associate Director, eventually becoming the Executive Director of the Southern New Jersey chapter. In 2000, they moved on to JANUS Solutions, working as a Senior Consultant in Organizational Development. Michelle then joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2003 as the Vice President of Field Management. In 2009, they became the Director of Operations at the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey. Michelle'smost recent position, starting in 2012, is as the Senior Vice President of Chapter Development & Field Operations at the American Parkinson Disease Association.

Michelle Harman McDonald holds a Masters Degree in Social Work (APP) and a Bachelors Degree with a major in Social Work and a minor in Women's Studies. Michelle obtained these degrees at Rutgers, The State University of NJ, focusing on Organizational Design & Macro Systems Change.
