Dave Fraser

Dave Fraser serves as the Associate Director of the Midwest Region at the American Petroleum Institute since March 2025. Prior to this role, Dave Fraser spent over a decade in various legislative positions within the Minnesota State Senate, including serving as a researcher, aide to the Senate Finance and Transportation Committee Chairs, and legislative assistant. Responsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders, developing and drafting legislation, and managing committee-related tasks. Earlier experience includes working as a staff assistant and intern in the US Congress, where event coordination and constituent outreach were key responsibilities. Dave Fraser began a career in project support as a contractor at SDC Management and also gained experience in the construction field at Northland Concrete and Masonry. Dave Fraser holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota.
