Delia Bonilla Cruz

Delia Bonilla Cruz is a dedicated professional with significant experience in program coordination and community engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Honors Program Coordinator at the American Physical Society since January 2020, Delia oversees the management of nominations, selection committees, and evaluations for Honors, Fellowship, and Historic Sites. Prior roles include Honors Nominations Coordinator at the same organization, where Delia focused on Society-Level Prizes, Awards, and Fellowship nominations, utilizing CRM software for data analysis and policy influence. Delia's experience also includes serving as a Children's Education Associate at Wesley-Rankin Community Center, where oversight of youth programs and curriculum development was key, and as an AmeriCorps VISTA member, designing an internship program aimed at supporting local youth. Delia holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Rochester.
