Lakesia Brownlee

Lakesia Brownlee, CPA, CFE, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Controller at the American Physical Society since September 2021. Prior roles include Senior Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager-Publishing at the same organization. Lakesia previously worked as Grants Manager for the American College of Nurse-Midwives and as Financial Compliance Specialist at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Additional experience includes several controller positions at AMVETS National Headquarters - Alumni and AMVETS National Service Foundation, as well as Assistant Controller at American Directions Group and various roles at BDO USA, LLP.
