Stephen Dematteo

Stephen DeMatteo has extensive experience in union leadership and organizing, currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President and Special Assistant to the President at the American Postal Workers Union since July 2018. Prior to this role, Stephen worked as an Organizer for SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania from July 2017 to July 2018. Stephen's career includes significant positions at UNI Global Union, serving as Head of Post & Logistics and Deputy Head of Post & Logistics from January 2012 to June 2017, and as a Research Analyst at the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) from June 2008 to January 2012. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Politics from Georgetown University and an Attestation d'Etudes politiques in Political Science from Sciences Po Lyon.
