Erick Franco

Chief Information Officer at American Printing House for the Blind

Erick Franco has held various positions throughout their work experience. Erick began their career in 2008 as an IT Manager at idX, where they worked until January 2012. Following that, they served as the IT Director at Procarent from February 2012 to November 2016. Erick then became the Chief Information Officer at the American Printing House for the Blind in March 2017, where they managed the implementation of business technology and developed industry standards for accessibility. Currently, Erick is a member of the Computer Science and Engineering Industrial Advisory Board at the University of Louisville, starting in April 2022.

Erick Franco attended CETYS Universidad from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Systems Electronics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications. In April 2002, they received a certification in SAP Project Management from SAP. Later, in October 2018, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in September 2020, they further advanced their skills by obtaining the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification from the same institution.
