Leigh Akerley

Leigh Akerley has a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. They started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Central Michigan Community Hospital in 2004 and held this position until 2011. In 2011, they completed an internship at Munson Medical Center and subsequently worked as a Medical Technologist at Thirlby Clinic from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Leigh joined the American Proficiency Institute, initially as a Technical Support staff member. They then progressively advanced within the company, serving in roles such as Lead Technical Specialist, Technical Support Manager, and currently as the Technical Director.

Leigh Akerley completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Medical Technology at Ferris State University from 2008 to 2011.
