Bethany Dame has a diverse and extensive work experience in political engagement, advocacy, and grassroots efforts. Bethany currently holds the position of Vice President of Political Engagement & Grassroots at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association since 2018. Prior to that, they served as Assistant Vice President and Senior Director in the same field.
Bethany also worked at DDC from 2014 to 2018, initially serving as Vice President of Client Relations and later as Senior Vice President. At DDC, they managed integrated campaign solutions and led the Health Care Working Group.
From 2007 to 2014, Bethany held the position of Senior Vice President of Advocacy at BIPAC, where they led the Member Service department and played a key role in strategic planning and sales growth.
Before that, they worked at the National Association of Manufacturers as a Senior Associate Director in Public Affairs from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they held positions at the National Society of Professional Engineers, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and in the office of Congressman James McGovern.
Bethany's experience spans over two decades and showcases their expertise in political relations, grassroots advocacy, and strategic planning.
Bethany Dame holds a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) from American University and a Bachelor's in Government & International Relations from Clark University. In July 2022, they obtained a certification in the Emerging Leaders Conference, offered by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association and Insurance Careers Movement.
