David F. Pearce Jr. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. David F. began their career as a Legislative Counsel for United States Representatives Michael Castle and Amo Houghton. After that, they worked as an Executive Director in the Government Relations and Legal Department at Morgan Stanley. Subsequently, they served as Vice President at DCI Group LLC, a role they held for two years. Following this, they moved on to become Vice President and Counsel at The Real Estate Roundtable. David F. later joined American Continental Group as a Partner. Since 2015, Pearce has been working at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association, where they hold the position of Vice President and Tax Policy Director. In this role, they have been responsible for managing all aspects of the association's tax policy and advocacy strategies. David F. has successfully lobbied for favorable language in the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017, resulting in a $105 million, 10-year benefit for the property and casualty industry. Throughout their career, Pearce has developed and maintained extensive business relationships with elected government officials, regulators, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

David F. Pearce Jr. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General at St. Lawrence University from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they pursued their passion for law and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Syracuse University College of Law between 1991 and 1994.
