William Wheaton

William Wheaton is an accomplished professional in political engagement and administrative support, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant in Federal Government Relations at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association since March 2019. Previously, William held the position of Field Organizer with the Democratic Party of Virginia, where significant contributions included organizing a highly effective voter contact campaign for Elaine Luria's congressional bid, leading a team of over 584 volunteers. Early career experiences include internships with Representative A. Donald McEachin and Senator Tim Kaine, where William gained valuable legislative research skills and insight into congressional operations. William holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia and completed high school at Norfolk Academy.
