Alik Widge

Alik Widge is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of psychiatry and neurotherapeutics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota since September 2018. With a robust background that includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Translational NeuroEngineering Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital, Widge specializes in electrophysiologic research related to deep brain stimulation for psychiatric disorders. Widge has been actively involved with the American Psychiatric Association, contributing to the Council on Research and previously serving as a Member-In-Training Trustee. Academic credentials include an MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BA in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College.
