Mike Buglioli

Mike Buglioli currently serves as the Director of Information Technology Services at American Public Education, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Mike operated as an Independent Contractor for various organizations, including Other Government Agency and Global Payments Inc. Between December 2014 and December 2020, Mike held multiple managerial positions at Synovus, overseeing IT projects such as large-scale system development and telecommunications. With extensive experience at Aflac from 2003 to 2014 as a Senior Manager/Project & Program Manager, Mike managed projects across various systems including workflow and imaging. Earlier career experiences include roles at Opentext, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, and American Express, focusing on enterprise content management, e-commerce systems, and core processing system redesign. Mike holds a BBA in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
