Carita Ducre

Carita Ducre has a diverse work experience spanning over several fields. From 2023 to the present, they have been working as the VP of Workforce Development & Educational Services at the American Public Transportation Association. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Partner & Senior Consultant at Insight Strategies, Inc. for almost nine years, from February 2014 to January 2023. During this time, they focused on organizational effectiveness and implementing successful strategies.

In 2017, Carita Ducre also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Southern Mississippi's Department of Human Capital Development. Carita facilitated a workshop called "Coaching in the Workplace" in May of that year.

Before their tenure at Insight Strategies, Inc., they worked as an Analyst at Entergy Corporation from August 2006 to February 2014. Entergy is an integrated energy company with a significant focus on nuclear power generation.

Prior to their role at Entergy Corporation, Carita Ducre was a Sales Manager at USA Mobility, where they handled business accounts in the healthcare, government, and business sectors. During their time there, they managed a successful territory that generated $600,000 per month in sales.

Lastly, they served as the Branch Operations Manager at Kelly Services from May 1995 to June 1999.

Carita Ducre has a diverse education history. In 1987, they graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended McDonogh 35 Senior High School from 1983 to 1987. In 2017 and 2018, Carita pursued Employee Engagement and Performance Improvement Certificates at The University of Southern Mississippi. In 2021, they enrolled in the Yale School of Management and obtained a degree in Fostering Inclusion and Diversity. Simultaneously, they completed the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach Certification.
