Petra Mollet has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. Petra served as the Vice President Strategic and International Programs at the American Public Transportation Association since November 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief of Staff from June 2012 to November 2016, and as the Vice President - Strategy from April 2008 to June 2012. Before joining the American Public Transportation Association, Petra was the Director of Corporate Development and the Corporate Office at UITP - International Association of Public Transport from 1999 to 2008. Petra also held the position of Executive Director at POLIS from 1994 to 1999.

Petra Mollet completed their undergraduate education from 1988 to 1992 at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs. Petra pursued further studies from 2011 to 2012 at Virginia Tech, earning a Master's Degree in Natural Resources.
