David Walsh has extensive work experience as a Chief Engineer. david started their career at Gulf Coast Trailing/B ANB Dredging in 1985 and held this role until 2011. david then worked at Noble Drilling as Chief Engineer from 2011 to 2015. After that, they joined the University of Alaska Fairbanks as an Assistant Engineer/temp from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they were employed at Majestic Star Casino as Chief Engineer. Currently, they are working as Chief Engineer at American Queen Steamboat Company starting from 2021.

David Walsh obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Mass Maritime Academy and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, both between the years 1976 and 1980. david also holds a certification from the U.S. Coast Guard as a USCG Unlimited Motor Chief Engineer, as well as third unlimited steam.
