Andrew M.

Andrew M. currently serves as the Executive Medical Director and Regional Medical Director at British Columbia Ambulance Service since December 2020. Holding a long-standing role with Canadian Red Cross since April 2005 as Medical Director and Chairman, Andrew is also a Clinical Professor at The University of British Columbia, contributing to medical education since 2009. Additional consulting roles include positions with WorkSafeBC and the Canadian Coast Guard since 2015 and 2016, respectively. Andrew M. has been an Emergency Physician and Trauma Team Leader at Vancouver Island Health Authority since 2000 and has also served in various capacities at Whistler Blackcomb and American Red Cross. Andrew M. holds degrees in Medicine from The University of British Columbia, Emergency Medicine residency from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria.
