Jarrett Barrios is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent humanitarian and non-profit organizations. From October 2011 to June 2020, Barrios served as Senior Vice President for International Services and Services to Armed Forces at the American Red Cross, overseeing global programs, military support, community resilience, and international collaborations. Following this, Barrios held the position of CEO at the California Community Foundation until June 2024, and previously was CEO of a major Los Angeles-based humanitarian non-profit, where innovative uses of social vulnerability data were developed for disaster service delivery. Barrios also led GLAAD as President and CEO from July 2009 to June 2011, advocating for LGBT equality in media. Educational achievements include an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
