Mat Garcia

Mat Garcia serves as the Regional Volunteer Services Director for the Central California Region at the American Red Cross since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing Volunteer Services staff and supporting over 2,300 volunteers across 11 counties. Prior experience includes work as an Independent Consultant from 2015 to 2017, providing coaching to church leaders on organizational health, and serving as Lead Pastor at BridgePointe Church from 2011 to 2015, leading a congregation of up to 1,000 attendees. Mat Garcia co-founded Rivers Community Church, where service as Lead Pastor spanned from 1997 to 2009, and directed student programming at Agoura Bible Fellowship from 1986 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Apologetics from Biola University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from The Master's University.
