Rosemary McGillan currently serves as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for the American Red Cross since November 2020. Prior to this role, Rosemary was an EVP/Partner at Porter Novelli, leading the Global Purpose Practice from 2004 to November 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President at Manning Selvage and Lee from 1999 to 2004 and as a Publicist for the National SAFE KIDS Campaign between 1996 and 1999. Rosemary holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
