Lauren W. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2014, they worked as a P.J Boatwright intern at the Miami Valley Golf Association, assisting with the execution of tournaments and events. In 2015, Lauren interned at the 500 Festival, coordinating race day operations and organizing a memorial service for fallen soldiers. Lauren also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Clemson University, where they facilitated public speaking activities and provided lecture content to non-communication major students. Lauren then joined TAG Communications as a Content Strategist, creating compelling content for clients' campaigns and developing annual plans and budgets. In 2018, they became a Marketing Manager at the American Rental Association, establishing their digital presence, implementing marketing campaigns, and measuring their success. Lauren later served as the Director of Business Development, where they developed technological tools for members, optimized marketing efforts, and collaborated with various departments to update research reports. In 2020, Lauren became the Director of Education at ARA, creating training courses and programs, launching certification programs, and developing strategic plans and schedules. Lauren currently holds the position of Senior Director of Communications Content, overseeing the creation of content for the association's media channels and ensuring alignment with member needs and brand strengthening.
Lauren W. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sports Communication from Bradley University. Lauren then pursued higher education at Clemson University, where they earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication, Technology, and Society. Lauren also has additional certifications, including a Google Analytics Certification from Skillshop obtained in January 2023 and a Business Management Essentials Certificate from Cornell University obtained in September 2021.
