Mandy Hughes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and fundraising. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Philanthropy at American Rivers since July 2014, Mandy previously held the role of Major Gifts Director for the Western Region. As the owner of Sweet Creations By Mandy since April 2012, entrepreneurial skills complement a strong background in non-profit leadership. Mandy's previous positions include Board Member at the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative and Association of Fundraising Professionals, Major Gifts Officer/Asset Growth Consultant at The Women's Foundation of Colorado, and Director of Development at KIPP Colorado Schools. Early career achievements include serving as Financial Development Director for The Salvation Army's Intermountain Division and Resource Development Director for the Alabama Louisiana Mississippi Division. Mandy holds an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University and a BA in Cultural Resource Management from the same institution.
