Vamshi Mugatha currently serves as the Director of Technology at the American School of Brasilia, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this, Vamshi was a Design & Innovation Teacher at Korea International School, where responsibilities included teaching various computer science courses and managing the MS Yearbook from August 2020 to July 2022. In addition, Vamshi contributed as an adjunct volunteer instructor for Stanford University's Code in Place Introduction to Python Programming Course in April and May 2021. Vamshi has extensive experience in IT leadership, having directed enterprise IT operations, networking, security, and data center operations at TPx Communications from February 2008 to May 2020. Vamshi began a career in technology as a Senior Developers Relations Engineer at BEA Systems from 2000 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Globalization and International Education from Teach-Now Graduate School of Education (2019), a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma City University (1999), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (1997).
