Joshua Giddens

Joshua Giddens currently serves as the High School Curriculum and AP Coordinator at the American School of Doha since August 2021, where responsibilities include supporting students and teachers in aligning standards-based practices and collaborating with high school counselors on appropriate academic goals. Prior experience includes positions as Learning Leader in the Humanities Department and IBDP/MYP Teacher at the American International School of Bucharest, as well as Curriculum & Learning Coordinator at Jakarta Intercultural School, where initiatives included curriculum revision and implementing blended learning. Joshua has also held roles as an IBDP Teacher and Head of Department at Harare International School, and as a Humanities Teacher at El Portal Middle School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of the Pacific.
