Jessica Lamb has a diverse work experience. Jessica started their career as a Fundraising Ambassador at Cure SMA in October 2016. In 2020, they became the Student President of Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honor Society. Jessica also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center starting from August 2020. At the Markey Cancer Center, they held various roles, including Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they assisted with research related to glycogen metabolism and neurodegenerative diseases, and Undergraduate Research Fellow, where they focused on immune-related adverse events associated with immunotherapy drugs. In 2021, they became a Junior Advisor at Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Honor Society, and in 2022, they were promoted to the position of Senior Advisor. Additionally, in January 2022, they joined the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) as the Vice President Finance.
Jessica Lamb attended the University of Kentucky from 2019 to 2023, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology. In addition to their degree, they also acquired several certifications, including Group 1 Biomedical Investigators and Key Personnel, Group 2 Social/Behavioral Investigators and Key Personnel, and Responsible Conduct of Research (Basic Course), all obtained in July 2023 from the CITI Program.
