Kanika Pulliam

Kanika Pulliam, PhD, CAE, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Professional Development at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, where responsibilities include supporting a global membership of over 11,000 within the molecular life sciences community. Prior experience includes consulting at McKinley Advisors, focusing on business transformation for professional societies, and directing career programs at the American Society of Human Genetics, where strategic initiatives in workforce diversity were managed. Additional roles encompassed education management at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, and program management at Morehouse College, including academic instruction. Kanika Pulliam holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University, complemented by graduate training at Vanderbilt University and a BS in Biochemistry from Spelman College.
