Alexandra Brown

Alexandra Brown has a diverse work experience in the medical field. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Surgical Pathology Fellow and then as a Susan G. Komen Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Fellow. From 2008 to 2014, they held the position of Associate Professor - Pathology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center. In 2014, they worked as a Physician at HORNE LLP. In 2015, they had two roles: Engagement Lead at Health Catalyst and Vice Chair of Performance Improvement at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Lastly, since 2016, Alexandra has been working at the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as the Chief Officer of Medical Quality and, more recently, they have become their Chief Medical Officer.

Alexandra Brown completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans between 1994 and 1998. Alexandra then pursued their medical education and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center from 1998 to 2002.
