Suzanne Ziemnik

Vice President Continuing Professional Development at American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

Suzanne Ziemnik has a strong background in continuing professional development and educational research. Suzanne worked at the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) from 2005, where they held the positions of Vice President for Continuing Professional Development and Chief Officer for Learning and Educational Research. Prior to their time at ASCP, they worked at the American Academy of Pediatrics from 1987 to 2005, serving as the Director of the Division of Continuing Medical Education. Suzanne also worked at the American College of Chest Physicians from 1985 to 1987 as an Education Coordinator.

Suzanne Ziemnik completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 1981 to 1983. Later, from 1989 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Illinois.
