Emily Gagnon

Emily Gagnon, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational technology management. Currently serving as the Senior Education Technology Manager at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery since September 2013, Emily develops and implements strategic directions for digital education initiatives, enhancing member engagement and technology integration for educational platforms. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Online Education Project Manager, overseeing projects related to continuing education and learning technology. From June 2009 to September 2013, Emily worked at Astute Technology as a Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing e-learning programs and serving as the primary liaison for a variety of non-profit and medical association clients. Emily holds a Master Certificate in IS/IT Project Management from Villanova University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Cello Performance from Oberlin College.

The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery is an international, educational society with more than 8,000 members. Its mission is to advance the art and science of ophthalmic surgery and the knowledge and skills of ophthalmic surgeons by providing clinical and practice management education and by working with patients, government, and the medical community to promote the delivery and advancement of high-quality eye care.
