Peter Linamen is an experienced professional in the fire protection industry, currently serving as President of the American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians since September 2022. Linamen has held the position of Hawaii General Manager at Alexander Gow Fire Equipment Company since April 2014, overseeing fire alarm and suppression project execution across Oahu and surrounding islands. Linamen's career also includes a decade at SimplexGrinnell, where roles ranged from Fire Suppression Manager—responsible for department operations and financial targets—to Electronic Service Sales Rep, achieving significant project closures and customer engagement. Linamen began the professional journey as an Electronic Technician, utilizing technical expertise to exceed customer expectations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate in Arts in Business from Central Piedmont Community College.
