Kate Crawford, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Kate is currently working as the Associate Director of Digital PR and Communications at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since July 2022. Prior to this role, Kate held the position of Senior Communications Specialist at ASCO starting in September 2015.
Before joining ASCO, Kate worked at BRTRC Federal Solutions for over 10 years. Kate began as a Senior Writer/Editor in October 2004 and later became a Communications Project Manager, where they managed editorial and production processes for various publications until September 2015.
In addition, Kate served as a Writer/Editor and Project Coordinator at Straumann from June 2003 to July 2004. Prior to this, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire from August 2001 to May 2003.
During the early years of their career, Kate gained experience as a Senior Sales Assistant at CMP Media from March 2000 to August 2001. Kate also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Law Office of Steven R. Whitman from June 1999 to March 2000.
Kate's work experience includes teaching as well. Kate worked as an English Teacher for 10th grade students at I.H. Kempner High School from August 1998 to May 1999.
Kate Crawford, PMP has a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of New Hampshire. Kate also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College. Aside from their formal education, Kate has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2011. Kate completed their high school education at Lexington High School, where they obtained their high school diploma.
