Rita Figueiredo

Rita Figueiredo has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Rita currently works as the Director of Accounting Services at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, from October 2022 to February 2023, Rita served as the Director of Accounting Operations at United Way. Before that, they worked as the Accounting and HR Manager at the National Beer Wholesalers Association from March 2020 to October 2022. Rita also held various positions at Idealliance, including Controller from May 2019 to January 2020 and Manager of Accounting from March 2019 to May 2019. Rita worked as the Accounting Manager at The Health Management Academy from March 2017 to March 2019 and as a Staff Accountant from May 2014 to March 2017. At Suzano, Rita held multiple roles, including Logistics and CRM Representative from April 2010 to March 2014, Senior International Logistics Analyst from an unknown start date to April 2010, and Economics and Financial Analyst from September 2002 to September 2005. Lastly, they started their career as a Controller Assistant at Portal do Sul Construcoes from January 1999 to September 2002.

Rita Figueiredo completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2000 to 2004. Rita also obtained additional certifications including a Post-Graduation Certificate in Business Administration from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2010, and an Operador de Mercado Financeiro/Financial Market Operator certification from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração in 2005. In 2017, Rita acquired a certification in Budget and Finance from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, they obtained a Notary Public Commission from the Commonwealth of Virginia in January 2020.
