Senior Program Manager at American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy

Paul Larsen is currently the Education Manager at the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy. Prior to this, they were a Program Manager at Creative Group, Inc. from November 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they were responsible for program facilitation of end-to-end meeting and event management. From January 2019 to September 2019, they performed as the client’s Meeting Manager and managed all US and Global Advisory Boards with the internal stakeholders and medical communications companies. Paul was personally responsible for managing 20-30 pharmaceutical advisory boards annually with budgets that ranged between $25K - $350K. As the team’s Advisory Board SME, they were responsible for refining SOPs and implementing processes to streamline efficiency. Paul acted as primary liaison, conducted meetings, managed budget and timelines for internal and external stakeholders (client, medical communications, sales, sourcing, air, registration, technology, operations, and accounting) and third-party suppliers/vendors. Paul developed all program copy including all printed documents for advisors, websites, apps, e-mail communications and other program related collateral. Paul worked closely with Program Coordinators’ to ensure quality control over program materials, along with monitoring honoraria and aggregate spend for advisors to ensure adherence to state and country laws, meal caps and transfer of value reporting.

Paul Larsen received a Bachelor of Science in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
