Christine L. Cooper, PharmD has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Currently, Dr. Cooper holds the position of Director, Scientific Projects, Special Projects at ASHP since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at AMCP in various roles, including Assistant Director, Educational Programs from June 2019 to November 2020, and Education Program Manager from July 2016 to June 2019. Christine L. also served as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Veteran Administration from January 2016 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Dr. Cooper worked as a Pharmacist at Walgreens from June 2007 to January 2016. Christine L. also had the opportunity to work as the Chairperson of Public Health at the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation from October 2011 to August 2012. In addition to their pharmacy experience, Dr. Cooper has worked at Walt Disney World as a Research Coordinator from September 2006 to May 2007 and as a Vacation Planner and Operations Hostess from May 2002 to September 2006.

Christine L. Cooper, PharmD, completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration from Albuquerqe T-VI in 2001-2003. Christine L. then pursued a Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry and a Bachelors of Science in Biology from The University of New Mexico from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Cooper attained their Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy from 2008 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Cooper has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include an ASHP Well-Being and Resilience Professional Certificate from ASHP in June 2023, a Fundamentals of Managed Care Pharmacy certification from AMCP in August 2019, Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie in July 2018, Project Management: Healthcare Projects from LinkedIn in February 2018, and Step Up to Leadership from Dale Carnegie in August 2017.
