David Chen

David Chen is an experienced pharmacy leader with a robust background in healthcare management. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Pharmacy Leadership and Planning at ASHP since September 2004, David also holds the title of Senior Director for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers. Prior to this role, David was the Director of Pharmacy at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital from March 1999 to September 2004. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Loyola University Maryland (1998-2001) and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland Baltimore (1988-1991).
