Michael Gabay

Michael Gabay serves as the AHFS Editor in Chief and Senior Editorial Director at ASHP since October 2022. Prior to this role, Michael accumulated extensive experience at the University of Illinois Chicago from July 1998 to September 2022, where positions included Senior Director of the Drug Information Group, Clinical Professor, and Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Drug Information program. Earlier, Michael was affiliated with Takeda as a Residency Program Director from July 2014 to June 2016 and completed a PGY1 residency in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview in 1998. Academically, Michael holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2007) and both a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the University of Minnesota (1997).
