Halimat's current roles include contributing to Health Union, LLC, mentoring medical school applicants, conducting research as a consultant, and serving as an ASH MMSAP Scholar. Halimat holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
