Karina Fernandez serves as the Chief Information Officer at the American Society of Hematology since April 2008, where responsibilities include the successful implementation of the information technology department, designing and managing technology infrastructure, and overseeing disaster recovery planning. Prior to this role, Karina was the Senior Director of IT at ASHP from March 1999 to April 2008, managing web development and enterprise databases while ensuring data quality and customer service. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Information Technology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of San Carlos.
