Yujia Wang

ASLA Committee And Leadership Roles at American Society of Landscape Architects

Yujia Wang is a distinguished landscape architect with extensive experience in landscape architecture, academia, and curatorial roles. Currently holding multiple leadership positions at the American Society of Landscape Architects since 2019, Yujia Wang serves on the 2023 Professional Awards Jury and is a member of the Climate Action Committee. As a founding partner of Urban Narratives Office L+P, Yujia Wang has led an award-winning practice focusing on significant public investment projects in China, with managed projects exceeding 70 million USD. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Yujia Wang is a Professor of Practice, specializing in publicly funded urban parks and innovative pedagogical methods. Additional past roles include curatorial positions at the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture and Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Arts, as well as work as a landscape architect with Sasaki. Yujia Wang earned a Master in Landscape Architecture with Distinction from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from Chongqing University.
