Samer BaniHani, MD, FASN, FACP is a distinguished Transplant Nephrologist currently affiliated with Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension since August 2021. With a wealth of experience, Samer serves as a Fellow at both the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology, as well as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist at the American Society of Hypertension. Prior to the current role, Samer was the UNOS Region Six Representative on the national OPTN/UNOS Pancreas Transplant committee and held the position of Medical Director for the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant & Living Kidney Donor Program at Providence Health & Services. Educational credentials include a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship from the University of South Florida and multiple fellowships and residencies in nephrology and internal medicine from the University of Tennessee-Memphis, complemented by a Doctor of Medicine degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
