Shaina Lange, MPS, currently serves as the Managing Editor for the American Society of Nephrology, starting in June 2023. Previously, Shaina held multiple roles at the American Chemical Society from June 2015 to May 2023, including Senior Manager of the Publishing Integrity Office, where key initiatives for diversity and inclusion were led, and ethical issues in journal publishing were addressed. In earlier positions at the American Chemical Society, Shaina developed expertise in editorial performance analytics and product development. Prior professional experience includes roles at Island Press as Executive Assistant to the President, as an Event Consultant for Something New Events, and in various capacities in academic and library settings. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Publishing from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Bucknell University, along with a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
