Shari Leventhal

Shari Leventhal has extensive experience in communications and editorial roles within prominent organizations. Since April 2002, Shari has held various titles at the American Society of Nephrology, including Executive Editor, Managing Editor, Senior Manager for Communications, Senior Manager of External Relations, and Senior Communications Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as Membership Coordinator at the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence from March 2000 to February 2002, and as Communications and Membership Assistant at the American Academy of Optometry from September 1998 to February 2000. Shari began a career in editorial support as an Editorial Assistant at Visual Education from July 1997 to June 1998. Shari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Religion from Muhlenberg College, completed in 1997.
