Renee Robbins

Renee Robbins has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Renee most recently worked at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as the Staff Vice-President of Education, Meetings, and Development. In this role, they led the development and execution of the global education strategy, as well as overseeing the annual scientific meeting. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Education at ASPS.

Before joining ASPS, Renee worked as a Senior Consultant at AbbVie Pharmaceuticals, where they led the development and deployment of a global customer relationship management system. Renee also served as a Vice President at Brewed, Inc., a craft beer technology start-up, where they were responsible for off-shore development, marketing, and social media strategies.

Additionally, Renee was a Partner at Causerie, LLC, a company dedicated to creating and delivering quality internet solutions. Renee also worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals as an Internal Education Specialist and at the Muscular Dystrophy Association as a Program Coordinator.

Renee began their career at the College of DuPage, where they worked as an Operator and Word Processor in Staff Services. Renee handled various tasks related to call management and document preparation. Overall, Renee has a diverse background with experience in education, technology, and healthcare industries.

Renee Robbins' education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Adult Learning Theory from DePaul University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Education from the College of DuPage, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Their earlier education consists of completing high school at Glenbard North High School, where they pursued a general studies curriculum from 1993 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Renee has obtained various certifications. Renee completed the "Smartsheet Essential Training" from LinkedIn in September 2023, and in September 2022, they received certifications for "Root Cause Analysis: Getting to the Root of Business Problems" and "Six Sigma: Green Belt," both from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in February 2021, they earned certifications for "Become a Six Sigma Yellow Belt," "Project Management Foundations: Communication," and "Statistics Foundations: 1," all from LinkedIn. Renee attained certifications for "Lean Six Sigma: Define and Measure Tools," "Operational Excellence Foundations," "Project Management Foundations," "Project Management Foundations: Teams," and "Six Sigma Foundations," all from LinkedIn, in January 2021.

Moreover, Renee obtained certifications from external institutions. In June 2016, they completed the certification program for "Project, Operations, and Supply Chain Management" from the University of Southern California. Renee also holds certifications for "Managing The Learning Function" and "Human Performance Improvement Basics" from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), which they earned in June 2009 and February 2009, respectively.
