Jonathan Johnson

Jonathan Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonathan is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at American Software, Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this, Jonathan held a position as the Auxiliary Services Director at Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) from August 2017 to January 2023. In this role, they managed logistics for the program and oversaw the IT department, which handled the IT requirements for computer labs and general IT needs for an 800 user group.

Before joining GHP, Jonathan worked at Deluxe Corporation from 2013 to 2021. Jonathan started as a Development Operations Specialist - Intern and gradually progressed to become an Associate Development Operations Engineer and later a Development Operations Engineer. During their time at Deluxe Corporation, they managed the Continuous Integration system using Jenkins and BitBucket, handled the deployment of various SAAS and On-Premise projects, set up configuration management, binary storage, and containers. Jonathan also maintained and documented networking and infrastructural systems on Linux and Windows.

Jonathan also worked at Georgia Institute of Technology as an Undergraduate Teacher's Assistant for Calculus from August 2011 to May 2014. Additionally, they served as a Computer Lab Technician at Georgia Governor's Honors Program from June 2012 to July 2013, where they managed a computer lab, set up workstations, managed domain users, and provided IT support.

Jonathan Johnson completed their Bachelor of Applied Mathematics degree in Applied Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015. In addition, they obtained the certification of SQL Essential Training from LinkedIn in November 2017 and became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance in December 2014.
