Sumayyah Muhammad, MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Sumayyah began their career at Wells Fargo as a Work Flow Coordinator/Quality Control Specialist, where they gained expertise in managing work flow processes and ensuring quality control. Sumayyah then moved on to Cardinal Health Medical Products and Services as a Customer Service Specialist, where they focused on providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing accounts receivable and billing.

Subsequently, Sumayyah worked at Vericor Power Systems as a Financial Analyst/Inventory Manager/Demand Analyst. In this role, they analyzed financial data, reconciled inventory, and provided support to supply chain and program managers. Sumayyah also prepared financial statements and implemented process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Following their time at Vericor Power Systems, Sumayyah joined Exide Technologies as a Global Consolidations Senior Accountant. Here, they played a key role in managing global consolidations and assisting with financial reporting.

At Novelis, Sumayyah held multiple roles including Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, and FP&A Manager. In these positions, they worked for a global manufacturing company, collaborating with various stakeholders to consolidate and report financials accurately and on time. Sumayyah analyzed performance indicators, developed financial models and analyses, and provided recommendations to support business decisions. Sumayyah also contributed to internal process improvement projects.

Before their current role, Sumayyah worked at Birch Communications as the Director of Financial Reporting. Here, they were responsible for overseeing financial reporting activities and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.

Currently, Sumayyah is working at American Software as the Assistant Corporate Controller, where they utilize their financial expertise to support the company's corporate finance functions.

Throughout their career, Sumayyah has demonstrated strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Sumayyah holds an MBA degree, further enhancing their qualifications in the field of finance and accounting.

Sumayyah Muhammad attended Georgia Southern University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Sumayyah then pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Mercer University from 2008 to 2009, specializing in Business Administration.
