Thomas Gielow

Thomas Gielow has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Thomas is currently working as the Vice President Cloud Technology at American Software, Inc. since May 2020. Previously, Thomas held various leadership roles at Demand Management, Inc. (Demand Solutions). Thomas served as the Vice President of Technology from November 2011 to May 2020, where they led the architecture and development of cloud SaaS offerings on Microsoft Azure. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Development from May 2001 to November 2011, overseeing software development and technology direction. Thomas also worked as a Software Engineering Manager from November 1996 to May 2001, managing software development and maintenance. Thomas started their career at Demand Management, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer.

Before joining Demand Management, Inc., Thomas worked at Contel Customer Support from August 1988 to June 1991 as a Computer Operator/Programmer, responsible for supporting mainframe systems. Thomas also worked as a Summer Intern at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for three years starting from May 1985, where they wrote programs in Databus language in support of DoD intelligence operations worldwide.

Thomas Gielow attended Vianney High School from 1979 to 1983. Thomas then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1983 to 1988.
