Steve Stevens

Steve Stevens is a dedicated advocate for energy efficiency and renewable energy, holding the position of Life Member at the American Solar Energy Society since April 2011. As a member of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society since 2006, Steve has actively contributed through various volunteer roles, earning the "Volunteer of the Year" award in 2010. Steve is the Chief Sustainabilist and Owner/Managing Director of Golden Oldy Cyclery, where a project focusing on a Carbon Negative Museum of Victorian Cycling History explores energy efficiency and sustainability education. Previous positions include a member and former State Captain of The Wheelmen, a member of the Historic Preservation Board in Golden, Colorado, and a Technical Staff member and Distinguished Member at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where significant contributions were made to wireless technology and education. Steve's academic background includes advanced degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Indiana University Bloomington.
