Douglas Schaefer

Douglas Schaefer is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in the AV and UC industry. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at American Sound since April 2023, Douglas leads the development of technology strategies aligned with organizational goals. Prior roles include Solutions Architect at Diversified, where expertise in Microsoft platforms and advanced technologies was provided, as well as significant contributions as a Design Engineer and Field Engineer. Earlier experience includes positions at Sensory Technologies and Ultimate Technologies Group, specializing in network engineering, audiovisual systems integration, and technical training. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Taylor University and has a background in live sound engineering and technical direction in various organizations.
